Effective collaboration

You’ve probably heard someone say that managing a team is like herding cats or that leading a change initiative is like pushing a wet noodle uphill.  While this is often the case, it doesn’t have to be that way.

Most people can be highly opinionated, stubborn and set in their ways, so when you put them together and give them a goal, it can cause conflict, inefficiency, and oscillation.

The key to harnessing the power of teams is carefully engineering and guiding the collaboration. I’ve spent decades studying psychology, personality, conflict, and motivation and have sorted through hundreds of tools and processes to find what really works in supporting collaboration.

Whether you want to shift your culture from command and control to one of empowerment, or you want to stop people or teams from sabotaging one another, or you want to get everyone on board with a change initiative, I can help.

Let’s fully utilize the strengths and superpowers of each of your employees (and let go of the ones that aren’t likely to work out).

My goal is for everyone in your company to be:

  1. Very clear on exactly how they fit into your company’s “creation of value” chain and what is expected of them
  2.  Fully utilized and working in their own genius zones
  3. Open-hearted and open-minded in collaborating with others
